I currently have a home with no equity in it. I want to purchase investment property, but my FICO scores are in the 550-600 range...How can I find a lender that will give me a loan with little or no money down and not so good credit.....Please help!
You'd be a prime candidate for a bird dog (scout).
I know there's a ton of stuff over in Memphis, and I had planned to come over there and do some REI until that big scam about the habitat for humanity flipping scheme came up.
Some lowlife investors got involved somehow, and it soured a lot of folks over there. Not sure of the specifics, but it was nasty for awhile.
Pardon my ignorance, I am fairly new to this site....What is birdog and REI???

Birddog: Is someone who hunts down deals (houses/properties) and "sells" the lead to an investor. (not an acutal sale of property, more of a finders fee).
