Finding Out Who Owns And Present Status...
I am interested in eventually getting into the real estate investment arena. Since I have no experience in real estate, I think I would like to start out by bird dogging as I learn my way. I have located a few properties that are in good neighborhoods that are boarded and in need of maintenance. How do I go about finding out who owns this property and what the present status is of that property?

Check with the county assessor's office. Most counties have this information on their website. Also title companies can be a great source of information.
