Finding Investors In Chicago?

tmtaylor profile photo

I've always come across profitable property for friends and family, but I had never heard of birddogging until recently. Now that I decided to become a birddogger, I can't find the investors. How do I find & partner up with investors? Also, do anybody have advice for a sales pitch for realtors and homeowners? :-o

    Welcome,

You have a great start already by being here. Look under clubs and see whats close to you. Then join and go to the meetings, they are worth their weight in gold.

Network as much as possible, even if you don't fit eachothers plan, you may still run across properties for them.

What type of properties are you finding? And what type of research did you do to know they were "good" deals?

    Welcome to the board.

Check the local papers for two sorts of things.

    1. Some have community sections that list club meetings.

    2. Looking in the property section or money to loan section. You are looking for ads that say "We Pay Cash" or similar. Folks who buy houses.

Call them and find out what they are looking for. Assuming they can leave some money on the table or otherwise reward you put them on your list of folks to call when you find a deal.
