Financing A 1978 Modular Home
Hello, I am looking for a direction to go to get financing for a 1978 Overland DW Modular Home its 1800sf used to be 4 bedroom but has been modified and only has 3 bedrooms its on 5 acres and is going for $48,000. It is on runners and has a number of storage buildings and ponds on the property. The problem I am running into is that lenders don't seem to be interested in a Modular home that is over 20 years old. My girlfriend is actually looking at putting in her name alone since she would qualify for a first-time-home buyer's loan. I was hoping that maybe someone knew of a grant or something that we could use to get it financed.
