FICO Questions

Hi, there. I'm new to the "art" of reviewing and attacking my credit report. I successfully got 4 past creditors to delete my accounts from the CRA's last week. I won't know the results until I get my credit report again, but I was wondering:
* How many points can I expect to gain with each deleted "entry"? I think with all of them I had either one or two 30-day late payments and maybe one 60-day one. Can I expect a 20-point increase with each one or is that wishful thinking?

Sorry, I don't know anything about how much of an increase you will get, but I was wondering how you got them to delete your accounts?

you can go to the bureau's websites and dispute the entries on your report, then they contact the creditor and see if its legit or not. if the creditor doesn't respond to them in 30 days its taken off.

    http://www.myfico.com/myfico/CreditCentral/ScoreConsiders.asp is a good resource.

and a 20point increase per item might happen. payment history is 35% of your score.
