Excel Modular Homes?
I am in the process of purchasing a Modular home made by excel homes to put on my lot, any experience or feedback in regard to their construction, quality, etc.

I assume the reluctant seller was there during the appraisal. They could have told the appraiser that the septic was bad, there were foundation problems, termites, a ghost living in the attic, who knows what.
If you want the house. Try calling the appraiser and find out why it was so low. Pull you own comps and be prepared to discuss them with him.
