Escrow Agent Should Be Neutral

if someone sign a contract for purchase in florida must the buyer place the earnest money in a neutral escrow account that has no intrest in the sale. the buyer place the earnest money in his partner escrow account and the deal fell

    I would only use a neutral 3rd party to hold my money in escrow i.e. title company.
