Please guys, can someone give their honest opinion on this deal? I am a newbie and would appreciate any any anlysis on the following Duplex in Easley, SC.

In my humble opinion, I would not consider this purchase. Way too far from home.

Horror stories abound in your own town. Do you think they would be less horrible several thousand miles away?

I think the numbers look good the only thing is the distance thing. I would look around and see how the property managers are in the area. I also would go into the my tools section and put it through the proforminator.

My two cents. I rep for a company near this area. I know this area is growing fairly fast in the commercial side. New Home depot - Lowes have recently built in this town. Greenville is doing really well and easley is benefiting from the growth. One of the hotest subburb is Powdersville which is next to easley. Hope this helps. Sorry I cannot help with the numbers but the area is growing..
