Due-on-sale Clause

is there any way to purchase single family or multi-unit properties without the due-on-sale clause being activated? confused

i live in southern california and have been told that the due-on-sale clause has put the brakes on creative financing (owner carry).

would appreciate any ideas on the types of creative financing i could use that would not trigger the due-on-sale clause. smile

    Glad to meet you.

    Please keep this under your hat but the person who activates the due on sale clause is off on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of every month, so this is the time you need to record the deed.
