  While I'm sure there is software specifically designed for this, I put my money in Microsoft's Access (I actually bought all of Office, love it, all integrated) as now I can customize and compile different types of data and manipulate it in any way I choose.

  If you are only looking to store and search the info mentioned in your post, your best and cheapest choice is Microsoft Excel. This program is easy to use and will let you store and search on all fields in your database. Microsoft Access is an advanced tool and can be difficult to understand.

  Try Top Producer -- the on line version is $35/month. It will pay for itself in spaddes. You do have to sign a one year deal, however. Googl'em.
