Confused Beginner
I am very new to investing and trying to focus strictly on distressed and foreclosed properties. I have driven around neighborhoods and looked at homes that have been boarded up, but I cannot locate the owners. How does one do this? My second question pertains to foreclosures. I have a listing of about 350 forclosures in my area. Is this list useful and if so how do I purchase these properties because it seems to have some very good deals.
In order to attempt to locate owners, you could journey down to the courthouse and access public record information. Don't forget to document the address of each vacant property you come across when accessing such information. Also, you may try links such as www.homeradar.com.
