Can Entity Help Avoid Judgment Attaching To Property ...

mrlee profile photo

I have a 2K judgement on my equifax bureau that I have been fighting for a couple of years and now I have learned that as soon as I purchase property in the county where the judgment is, that judgment is going to attach itself to the title of the property and therefore have to be paid prior to resale or refinance. Is there a way to use my newly formed business name for title purposes to avoid this? Are there any other solutions to deal with this?
TIA

Indeed there is ... first don't put the property in your name. Second, set it up in a trust to be managed by an LLC.
In this LLC, of course you would be the Pres/CEO ... in addition, place someone you can trust on there as well; just in case something happens to you.
You will need an attorney an your accountant on this one, but don't let' em
scare you ... it can be done.
