Buying Real Estate On EBAY

mbeli profile photo

Does anyone have experience buying real estate on ebay, if so, besides title insurance, back taxes, liens, and the general condition of said properties, and seller's feedback, what should I be on the look out for?
Thanks

Take a look at a newspaper article i posted a while back. My post in this forum was called Caveat Emptor.

Try the terms and conditions; for instance; does the positive cash flow outdo all the other payments? And if you really want to know how to buy a real estate property an use a note to do so with no money down; buy carlton sheets its well worth the price. He has a new course now, with CD'S a very good marketing investment! hope this helps! (ps..he will tell you all about the clauses you can have and use and the ones on the note or home itself..) laura :-o

I would call the community planning & building department and ask if there are any building issues with that lot. Also if there is a HOA, call about the dues if any are past due. Also, check the MLS for comparisons to Ebay prices.

I have 2 lots on ebay right now for sale, it is a good forum for sellers as is www.land-fsbo.com.

I have purchased TWO vacant lots on Ebay. Both have been good experiences, but one did not disclose some info that I found out while doing my due diligence. I still bought (this was May 2003) and for now it is a good deal.

The other one I bought Mar 2004 and I am selling it this month for $10000 more than I paid.

There are good deals to be had, some better than others of course. Good Luck! christine
