Any tips on how it will be easier for me to get there from where I stand?.

    Do a lot of reading on the different areas of REI, become knowledgeable about your neighborhood, find a local REI club and become a member and find an investor that can teach you the ins and outs while you birddog for him/her. Hopes this helps
