Bird Dog Fees......what Do You Do?
Hey all!
I have a question concerning bird dog fees. Not the big, back end money you get after closing, I'm talking about like if you sell leads on this site or another site. I noticed that a BD has listed prop leads with some info but left the address and stuff out(for obvious reasons!). So would you offer the pertinet info for say a one time $50 or $100 fee? Or would you work it the same way you would to someone you can meet face to face? Obviously, by doing a birddog deal on-line, you run a great risk of not getting paid, unless you know the person quite well. So in this case would it be better to charge a finders fee on a lead, rather than hold out for a bigger payday that might not come? I would love to hear from someone who actually posts leads here and has done deals this way. Or anyone else who can shed some much needed light!
