Best Way To Become Full Time Investor?
I just unexpectedly lost my job and I am looking at it as a blessing since I wanted a change anyway. I have a passion for real estate investing and I have spent the last year learning all that I can. I also have a degree in business and many years of management experience behind me. My goal is to be a full time investor and if I have to keep a JOB I want it to be related to real estate so that I can learn something. I have good credit and access to around $100k to get me started in something but there are just so many options I get overwhelmed and do nothing. I would love to not get another job and use the money to get me started but if I must I will go back to work but still invest what I have.
My question is: If I must continue to work for a while what type of job do you all recommend that will help me achieve my ultimate goal of full time investor? Also, what would be the best use of the money I have right now that has the potential to grow into something much bigger?

Without a job, it is hard to borrow money from conventional bank sources these days. Even after 7 years as a full time investor with 40+ projects completed, funding from conventional lenders is difficult.
First thing is to find a new job, then work on the investing thing.
The other option is is you have a sufficient severance package to cover yourself while getting established.
You can take classes and add a commercial specialty- you get to add a few letters to your title. Might even learn something.
