I am a new commercial broker. Does anyone have any advice on how I can break to the industry and how I go about selecting lenders?

Most lenders advertise on there individual web sites or I have seen them in classifieds. Blackburne and browne will give you just about everything you need to get started. They also have a list of competitors that will do loans they wont. The tricky part is to be able to do the loans that no one else can do. You will make a name for yourself if you are able to do that. I have one guy that can do it and he is making money hand over fist because of his ability to do the impossible.

    Good Luck,
    Kyle

All commerical lenders are NOT alike. Many have property type specialization and many have geographic specialization, many have borrower specialization. Suggest you network with other commercial borrowers for the type of loan you need.

For Multifamily I use Bank Atlantic and have found them superb.

For income props I use local banks that know me.
