I saw a recent study of housing affordability, and whether property prices were undervalued or overvalued when compared to wages. Utah was one of the most highly undervalued areas- specifically the Salt Lake area.

There are neighborhoods in Salt Lake that are becoming very desirable, and thus appreciating. Most of the state is flat in appreciation.

Alot of growth is happening in Utah County- Eagle Mountain and American Fork.

Some people are seeing long term potential in St. George. I just talked to a local from there who says that Washington County (St. George) currently has 100K residents, and projections put it at 700K in the foreseeable future.

    Just my 2 cents....
