Just Starting Off/NEED ADVICE
last year i bought my first home. it was in need of a little tlc but nothing major. most recently ive bought a second home in which i plan to move in. Only that this new home needs some major renovation such as a kitchen, roof, wall repairs, and some other small upgrades. currently im paying both mortgages im wondering in order to save time should i contract out some of the work on the new home to avoid having to stay in my old home longer than neccessary thus paying both mortgages. im no home improvement guru but i know i can do the repairs neccessary it will just take me longer if i do them myself. what are some of your experiences in using hired help vs. tackling the repairs yourself?
