Anybody experienced in the area of owning a car wash or multiple car washes. There are a few that franchise and I was wondering how solid of an investment they are?
Thank you for the comment. The reason I ask is due to the activity I have seen in the market with respect to car washes going out to auction. This cannot be a good sign.
Yes that is correct. I was looking into building fromthe ground up and in the IL / Chicago area there were at least 6 washed (self serve and automatic) up at auction. I was feeling that these were good money makers! My gut is telling me different.
ANyone know how to do due deligence in a car wash as it is so cash intensive. Someone told me of the amount of chemicals you can tell, but then its tough to factor in cars going for full wash or just exterior wash. Also another thing i read is by looking at a utility every machine uses certain amount of water to wash. Any one used all these methods. or can they advise me of recomended method. What is the price i should be looking to pay for a 6 year old car wash doing over 500k in gross
