Bedding~(3 Bedrooms/Sleeps 8) Master Suite: Image waking up in your King Sized bed to the sun shining over the Gulf of Mexico and the balmy breezes from your private balcony. The master suite features an attached master bathroom with a large soaking tub to relax your cares away. Bedroom 2: The second bedroom is furnished with a Queen Sized bed and shares the hall bath with bedroom 3 Bedroom 3: The “bunk house” has a set of bunk beds and a trundle bed that converts into two Twin beds. All bedrooms and the living area have flat screen TV's. Basic cable will be provided and a DVD player is located in the living room. The fully equipped kitchen was newly remodeled to provide a more modern and functional experience. New granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances were installed in 2012. All cookware, dishes and appliances will be provided; including, a toaster, blender and coffee maker. Bird of Paradise features an open and flowing floor plan with plenty of comfortable seating located throughout the home. The living area is centered around the large flat screen TV and one of the couches converts into a sleeper sofa for convenience. This vacation rental is playfully decorated in tropical, Keys inspired decor. The attached “Florida Room” overlooks the pool and the Gulf of Mexico. The Florida Room is furnished with a dining table for four and comfortable furniture to enjoy the open water views. The glassed-in room features ceiling fans for comfort. Bird of Paradise has central air conditioning and numerous ceiling fans located throughout the home for those warm tropical days. Ceiling fans are in the dining and living areas as well as in all of the Bedrooms. Directly behind the home there is a small floating dock which is ideal for jet skis, kayaks or a small flats type boat. Fishing from your own backyard is as simple as walking out your back door. Explore the local marine life such as dolphin, manatee, sea turtles, and more. The sunset views from this home are simply incredible. All homes in the Florida Keys can be subject to sea grass blowing in with strong winds. The grass is where our sea life live and reproduce and it can cause an odor when it accumulates. For dining outdoors a large table with six chairs overlooks the Gulf. The lovely Gulf front pool will ensure you enjoy everyday in the Keys as your relax around the azure waters. Pool heat will be provided for the week for an additional $100 fee. Flooring throughout the home is wood laminate and tile. Pets under 20 pounds will be accepted with a $150 per pet fee and pets over 20 pounds will be considered. Please call to discuss your pets needs. The Bird of Paradise is equipped with laundry facilities featuring a full sized washer and dryer. Parking available for 4 cars, two covered spots. Room for trailer parking. For guests wishing to have more water sports, Coco Plum Vacation Rentals is happy to coordinate the use of kayaks, jet skis, private boats and private fishing charters. Guests may also wish to visit the world famous Turtle Hospital, Dolphin research center, Key West and Duval Street or relax at Bahia Honda park and Beach.
