Buyers List - What Are The Ways To Build An Abundant One?

davehays profile photo

Hey folks,

I was wondering if anyone had tips, techniques, or strategies for building a healthy, growing and fresh buyers list for properties I am going to be looking to wholesale.

I already have a buyer's list of rehabbers for fixer properties, but I want to build one for renters, tenant/buyers, and owner-occupants who want to buy FSBO.

Aside from placing a classified ad, what are some ways you guys get buyers and renters to call you so you can pre-screen them and pre-qualify them?

Thanks so much in advance, Dave

Have you triied having an open house?
I have a Co -worker that also does REI part time and he often advertises an open house and supplies light refreshments. these open houses are often friends, Family, and his own homes and it seams to working pretty good for him. he bought and sold a few houses this way. He has every one fill a sheet out and answers a few questions.
this may give you some good leads???

    Hi there,

I appreciate your response, and I think it is a good idea. However, I don't have any properties under contract currently, but want to make sure I have a list of owner-occupant buyers for properties in the future.

So I am wondering what other ways there are to build my list.

Any one else? Thank you, Dave

With these low interest rates, right now this is sellers market. In CA, anyway, there is no shortage of buyers! Finding well priced homes is the hard part.

Find a house and they will come.
