hello, i'm new to the game, and I had a couple of questions regarding assignable contracts.... first off, where can i obtain forms? can i write them myself? or do they have to be very formal? also..... what are the rules about calling people who are in pre-forclosure? i used to work in telemarketing..... is there a way to make sure i don't call people on the teleblock list? thanks for the help

First off, if you're not calling to offer a TM opportunity, you're not technically a telemarketer, so the list won't be necessary. You're trying to help them. I would also send a letter first, and then call the next "mailing" day. So they get the letter in the mail, and here you are saying "you might have received a letter from me, I know your pain and troubles, and have helped others. Let me help you, please." [you're not lying, you HAVE helped others, just not with homes]

"FORMAL" means "on a form". You can write up ANY forms youreself. Even your IRS return. But it is the easiest and fastest way to get into trouble. Most RE investment books and courses, such as Kiyosaki, Shemin, Sheets will have sample forms. But if you dare write your own, like I do, ***MAKE SURE THEY ARE VERIFIED BY AN ATTORNEY** Just pay a good RE attorney with plenty of experience a few bucks to look over your forms BEFORE you use them, and ask if they need anything else, and what you have missed. It's not too terribly hard, but you do need a pack of different forms with you in a car at all times. You never know when you might need to submit an offer or write up a rider, or get a lease/option going. An assignable contract is no different than any other. It just has a word ASSIGNABLE in the fine-print, or says ASSIGNS TO or MAY ASSIGN.
