Shark Bait

I have purchased, and am attempting to evaluate a software application called Shark Bait. It is touted to be the cat's meow for evaluating and managing Foreclosures, Tax properties, REO property etc. The thing is it requires a full compliment of MLS Sales data for the application to do its work..

So I have two questions, both related.

1. Has anyone used Shark Bait? What are your comments, or suggestions?

2. Any suggestions on getting MLS Sales Comp data, so that I can evaluate its performance. I will be pleased to share any results I come up with, with the forum, if there are interested parties.

Sincerely

Dale

I have studied the Shark Bait site extensively. I think it sounds like a great program. MLS data can be gained by establishing a "Profeesional" relationship with a Realto who can either share their acces to the database in consideration for your loyalty to use him/her for all related sales, or they can periodically give you a CD with comps and update it regularly or you can subscribe to an online service. I have not found an online service to select yet. Shark Bait does have a reference to a list of online services for comps and foreclosure data. I came on to this Forum specifically to hear other's evaluations og the software and the services ussed to get comps and foreclosure filings more readily available than going to the courthouse.
