Surrounding the house are multiple flower gardens, a vegetable garden, cultivated fruit trees (Apples, Plums, Shadberries, and Cherries), berry bushes (Blueberries, Currants, Raspberries, Gooseberries, Strawberries, and Blackberries), and two varieties of grapes. The property has multiple nature trails highlighting Blue Spruce, mature Pines, Maples, Cedar, Tamarack, etc., and an abundance of wildflowers. Ample bird houses and feeders attract interesting varieties of birds. Our favorites include Eastern Blue Birds, Hummingbirds, Chickadees, and Goldfinches. Picturesque stone walls accent the property. There is a capped natural spring for your future pond site. The spacious yard also has an above ground pool and a stone lined fire pit which makes this a great place for all seasons. Also, with no ambient light, stargazing is a favored pass-time. Horses are welcome. Although cross-country skiing is available out your back door, Whiteface and Jay Peak are an easy drive for a days skiing (Our kids sometimes skied down the driveway to the school bus).
